Managing elections during crises
The conduct of elections in the last few years has been most dramatically influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, and the concomitant twin challenges of protecting public safety whilst at the same time ensuring the integrity of democratic processes. The Cambridge Conference on Electoral Democracy, unable to hold personal attendance conferences as a consequence of travel restrictions, has held a number of virtual seminars over 2020-2023 with distinguished speakers and guests on the theme of managing elections in a pandemic. These seminars are documented in the drop down menu.
